Purpose and Reason:

Effective October 1, 2008, the Medicaid Program will be revised as follows: 1) The Maximum Income Level for Eligibility for Parents on RIte-Care is being reduced from 185% of FPL to 175% of FPL. 2) RIte-Care Cost Share Premiums are being increased for all three existing Income levels: 150-185% FPL; 186-200% FPL; and 201-250% of FPL. 3) Additionally, a RIte Care cost share premium shall now exist for those families with an income level of between 133% to 150% of FPL. No substantive changes were made since date of notice.
